What makes a photograph truly special? What makes it worthy of that prominent place on your wall or cherished in a beloved album is the emotion that's captured; gazing upon a portrait like that can transport you back to that very moment in time so you can feel all the feels- remembering the magic and wonder you felt, and reliving it over and over again. Photographer Dorothea Lange said, "Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still." That's exactly what I aim to do in my photography - to capture those instants, those moments in time.
